Hello friends. I’m back!

We have a lot to catch up on! Jack and I had a wedding a month ago today. Eeeeee! It was the kind of day that made my face hurt from smiling. It was a day that made me repeatedly weep, laugh, and sweat. I loved every moment of it, and I still feel full to bursting with joy and gratitude. More than anything, I’m so very thankful to now be (and to now feel!) truly married to my partner Jack.

I have so much to say about what a special day/weekend our wedding was, and about all the thought and planning and love that went into making it happen. So much so that it may take a few installments here to share it all with you. To start, because it’s the most important thing, let’s talk about the food! Today I’ve got the menus for both our Italian-American rehearsal dinner, and our seasonal family-style wedding feast to share with you, as well as my recipe for the cake we served for dessert instead of traditional wedding cake, the story of how I found the right caterer, the game I encouraged our guests to play during dinner, and more. Here goes:
